The Netflix film “Kpop Demon Hunters” has become a global phenomenon, winning two Oscars in 2026 and becoming the streaming platform’s most-watched original film.
The movie’s influence has spread beyond the cinema, with fans travelling to filming locations in the Korean capital Seoul, in what many see as the latest example of “K-Syndrome” – the world’s growing appetite for content showcasing the Korean way of life.
