Ostrich farm supporters watched as crews from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency rounded up ostriches to cull at a farm in Edgewood, B.C., after avian flu was detected on the farm last winter. Universal Ostrich Farms Inc. went to court in an attempt to save the birds, but the Supreme Court of Canada declined on Thursday to hear an appeal to save the flock.
