Russian drone attacks injure 9 people in Ukraine’s Kharkiv

From Global News.

A Russian drone attack injured nine people in Ukraine’s second-largest city, Kharkiv, on Wednesday, mayor Ihor Terekhov said on the Telegram messaging app.

One of the strikes damaged a house, where a 75-year-old woman lived with her daughter-in-law, Oksana Shalamova. After arriving at the scene, neighbours told Shalamova that her mother-in-law was taken to a hospital with severe shock and injuries to her face and head.

Fire crews cleared rubble from the damaged house and extinguished a fire on its upper floor.

At a separate site in the same neighbourhood, nine cars were damaged after another drone struck near a residential apartment building.
