Trump Signs House-Approved Bill After Record-Long Shutdown

After a record 43-day-long shutdown, President Donald Trump signed the House-approved bill Wednesday to reopen the government and blamed Democrats for the prolonged standoff. Most Democrats voted no and accused Trump and congressional Republicans of ignoring a health care crisis by not addressing tax credits tied to the Affordable Care Act that are set to expire.
