Staying in the region, and coastal communities in Vietnam are assessing the damage caused by Typhoon Kalmaegi, after it swept across the country.

Five people are reported to have been killed after the storm slammed into Vietnam with winds of up to 150 kilometres an hour and torrential rain. It caused widespread flooding and damaged homes before weakening as it moved inland.
