The U.S. House is expected to vote on releasing thousands of Jeffrey Epstein files to the public, including emails containing references to President Donald Trump. Additionally, Trump claims he will sue the BBC for editing his Jan. 6 speech — but will this stand up in court? 

The historic U.S. government shutdown came to an end on Wednesday night when the president signed a budget bill that had passed the House into law. Certain programs, such as food stamps or the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, would be restored in a few hours, but others would take longer.
