UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres urges the international community to "step up" support for Lebanon, as Israel keeps up strikes on the country. Speaking in Beirut, Guterres says the international community needs to "empower the Lebanese state and support the Lebanese armed forces to secure the capabilities and resources they need." On Saturday, an Israeli strike hit an apartment building in a northern Beirut suburb, Lebanese media said, also reporting strikes on the country’s south. SOUNDBITE
