A long-lost painting by 17th-century Flemish master Peter Paul Rubens has sold at auction in France for almost three million euros. The work, which depicts Jesus Christ on the cross, was painted in 1613 and went missing for more than four centuries. It was unearthed by auctioneer Jean-Pierre Osenat in a Paris mansion last year.
