An Ontario court dismissed Premier Doug Ford’s bid to block an Al-Quds Day protest in Toronto on Saturday. Ford called it "a venue for antisemitism, hatred, intimidation and the glorification of terrorism." Protest organizers say it is a show of support for Palestine. The CBC’s Jennifer Yoon describes the rising tensions as demonstrators waited for the event to start.
