As the Department of Homeland Security enters its 29th day of being shut down, Transportation Security Administration agents have missed their first full paycheck, causing unscheduled absences among TSA workers to more than double. The lack of staff is impacting travelers across the nation, as they experience long wait times at security checkpoints and lines stretching all the way out of the building at some airports. Johnny Jones, Dallas-based TSA Worker and Secretary-Treasurer of AFGE Council 100 joins “The Weekend” to discuss.
