U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday said the United States should no longer accept Somalian migrants, who he called "garbage."

Speaking during a cabinet meeting at the White House, Trump said migrants from the African nation "do nothing but complain" and aren’t making the U.S. better.

He specifically cited Democratic congresswoman and Somali refugee Rep. Ilhan Omar, who he also called "garbage."

He also claimed that Somalis have "ripped off that state (Minnesota) for billions of dollars."

"We don’t want them in our country. Let them go back to their country and fix it," Trump said.
