Eurovision expert Paul Jordan said fans are feeling sad and frustrated after a vote allowing Israel to take part prompted a boycott by four countries.
 
The European Broadcasting Union, which runs the contest, has always said it is an apolitical event, but Jordan said geopolitics had caught up with it.
