From Global News.
Hours after a fatal blast at a Tennessee-based military explosives plant, authorities confirmed 19 people – now 18 – were missing and feared dead.
Speaking to reporters Friday, Humphrey County Sheriff Chris Davis said that the AES building in Hickman County was “gone” and described the incident as “one of the most devastating situations that I’ve been on in my career.”
Davis expects authorities to be on scene for “many days,” noting that the FBI have been investigating the cause of the explosion.
In a Saturday update, Hickman County Sheriff Jason Craft said new developments are being made “every few minutes” thanks to roughly 300 personnel taking part in the investigation.
