A pro-Palestinian demonstration outside the U.S. consulate in Toronto went ahead Friday, despite Ontario’s bid to block it.

Al-Quds Day was declared 47 years ago by the Iranian regime in support of the Palestinian people. But Jewish groups say it glorifies terrorism and antisemitism.

The Toronto demonstration was met with a large counter-protest and a heavy police presence. Sean O’Shea reports.
