Emergency personnel blasted sirens in Gaza City as they chanted in celebration, after a ceasefire and hostage deal was announced under the first phase of U.S. President Donald Trump’s initiative to end the war in Gaza. Palestinians in Deir al-Balah also celebrated by shooting celebratory gunfire.
