United States Secretary of War Pete Hegseth is under scrutiny for his decision-making related to combat and his medium of communication.

The independent watchdog at the Pentagon says Hegseth may have endangered U.S. troops by using the unsecured Signal app on his personal phone to share sensitive details of a planned strike in Yemen.
