Via Rail passengers stuck for more than 12 hours overnight

Via Rail passengers on three separate trains travelling from Toronto to Ottawa were stranded for more than 12 hours overnight after one of the trains broke down near Brockville, Ont. In a statement, Via says a full review of the mechanical failure is underway. However, a Via Rail spokesperson would not tell CBC News whether the mechanical problem had anything to do with the snowfall warnings in place across eastern Ontario on Wednesday.
