From Global News.
On Saturday, Russian strikes hit two Ukrainian ports in the Odessa region, damaging three Turkish-owned vessels in what Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called “an attack on food security”.
Ukrainian residents were also left without power in Mykolaiv following an overnight Russian strike. Residents gathered throughout the day to charge their phones at common points where electricity is available.
60-year-old Mykolaiv resident, Ihor said, "That they want to break us, yes, of course. As you can see. But we are not giving up. We came here, we didn’t go anywhere. So we will wait and see where this leads. But we would like it all (war) to stop. But not on the terms that are being proposed there."
In an evening address, Zelenskyy said, "Striking such ships, which have nothing to do with the war, is a direct challenge by Russia to the entire world.”
