Later today, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to meet with President Trump at Mar-a-Lago to discuss a Ukrainian- backed peace proposal for the region. The meeting comes at a critical moment, as Russia launched its largest attack on Ukraine’s capital in months. Speaking ahead of the talks, Trump tempered expectations, saying Zelensky “doesn’t have anything until I approve it… so we’ll see what he’s got.”
