More than thirty farmers from the CR farmers union in Lot-et-Garonne, southwestern France, set off for Paris in their tractors. French farmers are angry about the government’s handling of lumpy skin disease, as well as low wheat prices, high fertilizer costs, and the threat of increased competition from Latin American Mercosur countries.
