Paris is hosting a summit with Ukraine and its allies, aimed at finalizing their contributions to future security guarantees for Kyiv in the event of a ceasefire.

US envoys Steve Witkoff and President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner arrived at presidential palace to meet with President Emmanuel Macron ahead of the gathering. Around 30 countries are attending from the so-called Coalition of the Willing in support of Ukraine’s defence against Russia’s full-scale invasion. Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that, although he’s seeking a diplomatic solution, he’s discussed strengthening Ukraine’s defences with Macron.
