In an age where artificial intelligence can make anyone say almost anything, actor Matthew McConaughey has filed to trademark his voice and likeness in an effort to protect his image from misuse by AI companies. The trademark would give McConaughey the power to sue if AI companies recreate him to sell products or train their models without his permission. NBC’s Morgan Chesky reports for TODAY.
