American President Donald Trump has made several announcements in recent days. One that was largely overshadowed concerned U.S.-Venezuelan oil. It’s been nearly three weeks since American forces seized that country’s president.

The Guardian newspaper reported on Thursday that Delcy Rodríguez spoke to the U.S. for months before Trump removed Maduro, in line with other reports.
