Much of Southern Ontario was digging out Monday after a major winter storm hit the region.
Nearly 60 centimetres of snow fell in parts of the GTA, leading to widespread closures.

Eleven days ago, Toronto was recovering from another deep dump, and Global News reported the story of 99-year-old Zera Standish, who was clearing her driveway by herself.

Verun Sriskanda saw that Global News report and brought a crew to clear Zera’s driveway over the weekend, free of charge for the rest of the winter.
