During an expedition examining deep-sea ecosystems off the coast of Argentina, scientists have documented a rare phantom jellyfish. Stygiomedusa gigantea, commonly known as the giant phantom jelly, can grow up to one metre in diameter, and their four arms can reach up to ten metres long.
