Senior Hamas leader Khaled Meshal says the Palestinian Islamist movement would not surrender its weapons nor accept foreign intervention in Gaza, pushing back against US and Israeli demands. "Palestinians govern themselves. Gaza belongs to its people and Palestine belongs to its people. We will not accept any foreign rule," Meshal says at the Al Jazeera Forum on Middle East politics in Doha, Qatar.
