From DW News.
Ghislaine Maxwell, the former girlfriend of deceased sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, declined to answer questions from U.S. lawmakers. Speaking to members of Congress via video link, she repeatedly invoked the Fifth Amendment, which allows her to not answer lawmakers’ questions. However, a lawyer representing Maxwell said she would be willing to testify and clear the names of both Bill Clinton and Donald Trump if she were released from prison.
