LIVE: Jeffrey Epstein survivors to deliver press conference | BBC News

From BBC News.

Survivors of the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and Democratic lawmakers are gathering in Washington to introduce "Virginia’s Law".

The legislation aims to remove the statute of limitations – or a deadline to file a lawsuit – which the group say "has shielded traffickers and denied survivors their day in court".

The family of Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre will join survivors, advocates and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer.

It comes after the US Department of Justice (DOJ) released millions more files related to Epstein on 30 January.
