"Dawson’s Creek" star James Van Der Beek has died after his two-year battle with colon cancer. His wife shared the news, writing, "He met his final days with courage, faith and grace." Van Der Beek shared six kids with his wife Kimberly. His last public appearance was in December. He opened up about his health on the "TODAY" show. The actor was diagnosed with stage three colorectal cancer in August 2023 after a routine colonoscopy. Van Der Beek was 48.
