More than a hundred couples tied the knot on Thursday in a mass wedding in the Peruvian capital, Lima, as the city government helped them celebrate Valentine’s Day a little early.

Some couples arrived in cars decorated with flowers, but most came on foot, carrying a bottle of water or a handkerchief to wipe away the summer sweat.
