Team Canada’s men’s hockey team began their quest for a 10th Olympic Gold Medal Thursday morning against Czechia at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano-Cortina, Italy.

Captain Sidney Crosby will help lead the way, but unlike in 2010 when he was Canada’s up and coming superstar, he now leads as a grizzled 38-year-old.

Connor McDavid and Nathan MacKinnon — currently the NHL’s two top leading scorers at the break — will be looked upon to shoulder much of the load down the middle.
