Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese visited Ahmed al Ahmed in hospital to thank him for his actions during the terrorist attack at a Jewish Hannukah festival at Bondi Beach, which left 15 dead. Ahmed tackled one of the gunmen and seized his firearm. The Prime Minister stated that the attack appeared to be motivated by Islamic State ideology.
