Twelve people were killed Sunday and at least 29 injured after two gunmen opened fire during a Hannukah celebration at Sydney’s Bondi Beach

New South Wales Police declared the attack a “terrorist incident” and confirmed authorities had fatally shot one of the gunmen. The other suspect was arrested.

Additionally, Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon said investigations are underway to determine whether a third gunman was involved.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called the attack an “act of evil antisemitism” and praised the “courage of everyday Australians” who put themselves in harms way to keep others safe during the attack.
