Loud bangs are audible and trails of smoke are visible in the sky above the Cambodian border town of Samraong, as the Cambodian military fires artillery towards Thailand. Five Thai soldiers and seven Cambodian civilians have been killed in the latest fighting between the two countries along their contested border, officials say, while more than 500,000 people have fled to shelters.
