More than a dozen people were confirmed dead and hundreds were rescued in a ferry accident in the Southern Philippines. The Philippine Coast Guard says passenger vessel MV Trisha Kerstin 3 was on its way to Jolo in Sulu province when it encountered an issue at 1:50 a.m. local time.
