Discarded shells bolster Hong Kong’s oyster reef restoration

Hong Kong’s oyster reefs, almost decimated by over a century of dredging and land reclamation, are being restored by scientists. They’re rebuilding the reefs by placing sacks of recycled oyster shells in the sea, creating a new surface for oyster larvae to grow on. (AP video by Katie Tam)
