Epstein files: Clinton demands transparency, accuses Trump administration of “slow-walking” release

From Global News.

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary Clinton – the former Secretary of State – are set to testify in the congressional investigation into the late sex offender financier Jeffrey Epstein next week.

In a newly-released interview with the BBC, Hillary accused the Trump administration of a “cover-up,” and called for the couple’s testimony to be taken publicly.

The former first lady said there’s something “about this administration’s attitude toward” the Epstein files that “leads us to conclude they have something to hide,” adding, “they keep trying to divert.”

As Global’s international correspondent Vincent McAviney reports, Hillary has called repeatedly for the release of the documents.
