The family of an unarmed Quebec teen, shot dead by a police officer in September, is suing the police force and City of Longueuil for more than $2 million.

The lawsuit alleges the officer used unreasonable and disproportionate force on the 15-year-old.

As Global’s Tim Sargeant reports, the victim’s family released surveillance footage of the teen’s final moments on Tuesday.
