From Inside Edition.
A teen held a wild possum up by his neck and brought it into the house to show her parents. The possum did what possums do, "playing possum," meaning pretending to be dead. It is a natural defense mechanism the critters use when they feel threatened. Talia Lehman took a video when she found the possum in the home outside Joplin, Missouri, and brought him inside. Inside Edition spoke to the family. Talia released the possum back into the wild.
