A federal judge said on Friday the trial for accused CEO killer Luigi Mangione will begin on Sept. 8 in New York City. She said the rest of the trial schedule depends on whether she allows prosecutors to seek the death penalty. Mangione has pleaded not guilty to federal and state murder charges for the 2024 killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
