Members of the French farmers’ union, the Coordination Rurale, gather at the foot of the Eiffel Tower in Paris to voice their opposition to the Mercosur trade deal. Farmers fear the agreement will mean they are undercut by a flow of cheaper goods. The Mercosur deal seeks to boost commerce between the EU and Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina and Uruguay.
