From Global News.
Travel turmoil continued for a fourth day across India’s airports after the country’s largest airline, IndiGo, cancelled more than 1,000 flights, including all departures from New Delhi.
IndiGo admitted it failed to plan properly after authorities introduced new stricter regulations limiting pilot flying times and placing tighter restrictions on night-time flights.
India’s civil aviation authorities granted IndiGo a temporary exemption from some of the new rules on Friday to help it deal with the crisis.
IndiGo had earlier said it did not expect to fully restore operations until February 10.
