Germany’s far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) has long sought to cozy up to Donald Trump’s MAGA movement in the US. Those efforts were once again on display this weekend at a black-tie gala in New York hosted by the Young Republican Club. It’s a key date for MAGA-aligned Republicans and international far-right figures, for whom the Trump administration has been signaling growing support.
