The UK’s former Conservative interior minister, Suella Braverman, defects to the anti-immigrant Reform party. Speaking to a cheering audience in London alongside the party’s leader, Nigel Farage, Braverman says, "Courage means keeping your promises to your country, and that is why, ladies and gentlemen, it is the honour of my life to join your team today". Braverman’s announcement makes her the third senior Conservative Party figure in a month to join the party led by Brexit figurehead Farage. SOUNDBITE
