Palestinian citizens of Israel are being killed at record rates — roughly one person a day. Though they make up about 20% of the population, they account for more than 80% of homicide victims. The community says the government has failed to stem the violence and that its inaction has helped spur a cycle of violence largely perpetrated by Arab crime groups.
