“If it’s not safe, we aren’t going”: NHL worried about Milan’s unfinished Olympic hockey arena

The construction of Milan’s new ice hockey arena for the 2026 Winter Olympics is getting international attention for all the wrong reasons.

Olympic organizers say there is no backup plan if the facility is not ready for the event.
NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly said, "If the ice isn’t ready and it’s not safe, then we are not going."
