Interpreter cries during Ukrainian boy’s testimony | DW News

11-year-old Ukrainian boy Roman Oleksiv survived a Russian missile attack in July 2022, which killed his mother. When he told his story at the European Parliament this week, his interpreter broke down in tears. Roman urged MEPs to continue supporting Ukraine and acknowledge the struggles of children whose lives have been irreparably changed by the war.
