President Trump says that Israel and Hamas have agreed on the first phase of his peace proposal and that he’s likely to travel to the region soon.

In a message on Truth Social Thursday night, Trump announced a deal on the first phase of his peace plan, meaning all of the hostages “will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their Troops to an agreed upon line.”

A group representing families of the remaining hostages thanked Trump for what they are calling a historic breakthrough.
