Trump says "things are going very nicely" for his border czar Tom Homan who has arrived in Minnesota. Homan has met Minnesota’s Governor Tim Walz who again called for impartial investigations into the Minneapolis shooting deaths by federal agents.
Homan is replacing Border Control official Greg Bovino who left Minneapolis following the most recent fatal shooting of a civilian by federal officials. That shooting sparked mass public outrage. Video of the fatal encounter has gone viral and it appears to contradict the US federal government’s account of the shooting.
