Liberal MPs insisted their caucus was united despite former environment minister and current Canadian Identity and Culture Minister Steven Guilbeault resigning from cabinet.
Guilbeault’s decision came just hours after Prime Minister Mark Carney signed an energy and pipeline deal with Alberta on Thursday.

Liberal MP from Mississauga—Lakeshore constituency Charles Sousa said while he thinks, "Steven’s a great guy, " he believes, "we have to consider what Canadians, what the Indigenous people want."
